Marouane Fellaini mocht zondagavond voor de 100ste keer opdraven in het shirt van Manchester United, maar achteraf gezien had hij zijn invalbeurt beter aan zich voorbij laten gaan. Tegen ex-club Everton mocht de Rode Duivel de wedstrijd bij een 0-1-tussenstand vol maken. Maar enkele minuten later veroorzaakte hij op erg domme wijze een strafschop, iets wat zijn club twee erg dure punten koste. Met zijn fout liet Fellaini Twitter helemaal ontploffen en dat in negatieve zin. Bepaalde meme's waren nog wel grappig, maar sommige volgers gingen zelfs over tot doodsverwensingen. In ieder geval gaat Big Fella een zware nacht tegemoet en lijkt zijn verhaal op Old Trafford stilaan over. De cijfers spreken ook niet in zijn voordeel: van de wedstrijden met Fellaini tussen de lijnen won United er 34.4%, zonder hem is dat 60% van de partijen ... Een overzicht van enkele Tweets:
