Kompany is terug en blinkt uit: "Hij maakt iedereen beter, wat een legende!"

Woensdagavond werden de laatste heenwedstrijden van de zestiende finales in de Champions League afgewerkt. Van alle ploegen lijkt Manchester City over de beste papieren te beschikken om de kwartfinale te bereiken. De Citizens wonnen immers met 1-3 op het veld van Dinamo Kiev. Bij City stond Vincent Kompany opnieuw in de basis. 2016 was nochtans erg slecht begonnen voor de Skipper. Blessureleed hield hem immers enkele weken aan de kant. Maar na een moeizame revalidatie is de Rode Duivel weer helemaal terug. Woensdagavond speelde hij een erg sterke wedstrijd en door zijn inbreng is de City-defensie duidelijk een pak stabieler.
