Kevin De Bruyne bewees nog maar eens dat Chelsea één van zijn grootste blunders ooit maakte door hem te laten gaan. Op Stamford Bridge was hij de bepalende speler door een assist te leveren en een doelpunt te scoren. Man City won met 1-3 en De Bruyne kreeg uiteraard terecht veel lof voor zijn glansprestatie. Zijn teller staat dit seizoen al op 3 goals en 8 assists in 15 competitiematchen.
