Cristiano Ronaldo kende een bewogen dag, waarbij hij in Spanje veroordeeld werd wegens belastingfraude tot een monsterboete van bijna 19 miljoen euro. En nu ligt de Portugese superster ook nog eens onder vuur nadat hij een op zijn zachtst gezegd ondoordachte tweet de wereld instuurde.
Ronaldo stuurde immers een foto de wereld in waarbij hij lachend een selfie neemt op het vliegtuig. En dat ligt gevoelig, aangezien het nieuws vandaag gedomineerd werd door de zoekactie naar Emiliano Sala, de Argentijnse aanvaller wiens vliegtuig maandagavond plots van de radar verdween en die wellicht omgekomen is. De tweet zorgde voor heel wat verontwaardigde reacties, onder meer van Gary Lineker.
