Romeo Lavia kwam op sociale media plots in een vreemde instroom van roddels terecht. De middenvelder komt weer volledig boven water bij Chelsea en hij maakt binnenkort aldus mogelijk weer deel van de Belgische nationale ploeg, of toch niet?
Voorlopig staat Lavia op één cap bij de Rode Duivels. Bondscoach Rudi Garcia selecteerde hem nog niet omdat hij met veel blessureleed kampte. Nu hij daarvan verlost lijkt kwam op sociale media een opvallend gerucht naar buiten. Lavia zou ook nog voor Ghana kunnen kiezen.

Zéér vreemdLavia is een jeugdproduct van RSC Anderlecht en hij doorliep alle jeugdreeksen van de Belgische nationale jeugdploegen. Bij de Rode Duivels bleef hij op één cap steken omdat hij van de ene in de andere blessure viel. Nu lijkt de middenvelder eindelijk op de weg terug.
En dat was op sociale media reden genoeg om de boel even op te stoken. Plots kwamen veel berichten naar buiten dat Lavia nog voor Ghana kan en zál kiezen. Omdat hij nog maar één cap op jonge leeftijd heeft behaald, zou hij nog kunnen switchen van nationale ploeg.
