Zit er ruis op de relatie tussen Kevin De Bruyne en Pep Guardiola? De 31-jarige middenvelder start vandaag wéér op de bank bij Manchester City voor het treffen met Crystal Palace. Op Twitter stellen de fans zich ondertussen de nodige vragen of er niet meer aan de hand is.
De Bruyne zal voor de tweede keer in drie competitiematchen op de bank starten, in februari zat hij ook al op de bank tegen Tottenham. Daarnaast werd hij vorige week ook nog eens na 65 minuten gewisseld tegen Newcastle. Man City speelt binnen drie dagen in de Champions League tegen RB Leizpig, maar nadien volgt het bekertreffen tegen Burnley. Daar had Guardiola hem ook rust kunnen geven, als dat nodig was. Het is duidelijk dat De Bruyne, die zeker geen topseizoen kent, iets minder hoog staat aangeschreven bij Guardiola.
