Het coronavirus eiste de voorbije weken en maanden al heel wat slachtoffers en heeft ervoor gezorgd dat over zowat de hele wereld het publieke leven tot stilstand gekomen is. De voetbalwereld ligt momenteel ook plat, maar dat zorgt er ook voor dat er alsmaar meer acties opgezet worden om het virus te bestrijden.
Zo raakte woensdag bekend dat de Duitse internationals 2,5 miljoen euro doneren en ook Zlatan Ibrahimovic zet zich in voor de strijd tegen het coronavirus. De spits van AC Milan doneert zelf 100.000 euro en middels een crowdfundingsactie wil hij in totaal 1 miljoen euro verzamelen. "Als het virus niet naar Zlatan komt, dan gaat Zlatan naar het virus", zegt de Zweed in zijn gekende stijl.
